It’s hard enough to get your head around Search Engine Optimisation and now come more changes.

But like most changes, this is for the better.  Google has announced that from April 21st it will use mobile friendliness as a ranking signal in its search results.

What does that mean for you?  Well, look at your web site on a tablet or smart phone and see what it looks like.

Did it look good?  If not, then not only will your Google Search results be affected but you could be missing out on potential customers.

More and more people are using mobile devices to browse the web and that means if your site isn’t mobile friendly (or what we call responsive) then those customers will look elsewhere.

It’s obvious that customers that are using the mobile device to search are more than likely in the area where your business is located, whether you run a cafe or a show shop, getting that customer to go to your site and then buy from you is difficult enough, but if your web site isn’t responsive, then forget it, they’ve already gone to the next site.

So don’t delay, get your site to be responsive to get better search results and more customers.
