When creating your website content, you’ll need images for backgrounds, posts and pages.

There are plenty of places to get them from, but I’ve compiled a small list of my favourite websites to go to.

When selecting images, make sure you are allowed to use them for commercial purposes and that there are no licence requirements. ┬áNormally, the details will say ‘ free for commercial use’ and ‘no attribution required’, that just means you don’t have to say where the image came from.

Some licences are free to use, but you must provide a link to the website it came from and that’s fine, just make sure you add the link!

Also, some websites ask you to subscribe so they can send you new images and that’s a great way to build a great collection of images for any future use.

Other websites have a lot of images and provide a search box for you to enter some text to find the image you are looking for.
